Will I receive 1:1 coaching?

No. The focus of The Refinery is on community and support in a small group of peers. You will receive a personal Human Design reading by Katy but this is not a live session - Katy will record your HD reading so you have it to refer to whenever you want. If you would like 1:1 support specifically you can book a private coaching session with Katy here, as an additional upgrade option. 

Who else is in the group?

I am bringing together an intentionally small group of brilliant creatives (drawn exclusively from creatives in my world) to walk and grow together over 9 months.
Expect new connections, deep conversations and the kind of support and growth that happens when like-minded people come together. 

When do the live calls happen?

Calls will take place within UK daytime hours — the schedule will be set once the group comes together. I work with creatives around the world and always consider time zones and aim to find a rhythm that works for the majority. All calls are recorded, and you’ll be able to submit questions in advance, as well as connect during our monthly Voxer day for additional support. Whether you’re on the call live or not, you’ll always walk away with insight and direction.  


How is this different from Aligned For Growth?

Aligned For Growth helps you to build strong business foundations - from positioning and pricing to business model and marketing.  It’s for those shaping the structure of their studio and creating a solid bedrock from which to grow.

The Refinery is for those with solid foundations who are ready to refine. It’s less about building, more about aligning - using your Human Design to grow with more ease, clarity, and authenticity.

You’ll get access to the AFG trainings if you want a strategy refresher, but the live support is focused on refinement, not starting from scratch.

Will you teach me to get clients?

We focus on energetic alignment to market and sell in a way that honours your natural gifts and energy.  For example, one of my gifts is Clarity - which has been mirrored back to me by numerous clients and collaborators over the years - so you’ll see me using that language in my marketing.  Inside The Refinery we will unlock your gifts and how you’re designed to create messaging around your magic to attract opportunities, so that you’re marketing and selling from alignment, prioritising a strategy that is sustainable for you. If you want to brush up on your marketing and sales skills you’ll have full access to the Aligned For Growth trainings which will support you with the strategy in this area.


What if I’m not making money in my business RIGHT NOW?

I care more about you being resourced and ready for this space, than I do about convincing you to join this experience.

The Refinery is about expansion, not survival. You need to be stable enough to show up for 9 months of deep energetic alignment and integration into your life and business. If you're still building your foundation or this investment would overly stretch you, please wait until you're in a more financially stable place. 


Where will I use what I learn about Human Design?

Everywhere - starting with yourself.  You’ll understand why you need time to withdraw and spend time alone, while your partner, children, colleagues or friends seem to be able to just ‘go go go’ (or vice versa) - turning your differences into understanding, compassion and strength.  You’ll be better able to navigate team dynamics, understand why certain people thrive in certain situations or need time for decisions, and create more harmonious, effective collaboration.  If you’re a parent you’ll have a tool for understanding your child(ren)’s unique needs and help them build confidence in who they naturally are. Any challenge or decision you’re navigating, you’ll understand how to use your Human Design as a map to chart your path forward. 



I want to do this, but can I join the next one?

Right now there are no plans to run The Refinery again. We start at the end of September and this is the only time The Refinery will run this year.
